How do I begin working with you?
You can start by booking a consultation or requesting an appointment through the contact page. From there, we’ll determine the best path forward based on your needs—whether that is therapy or coaching.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, I offer a brief consultation to help you ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and determine if we’re a good fit to work together.
What do you help clients with in therapy?
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and relational challenges. My approach is grounded, honest, and centered on supporting the whole person.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I work with select insurance providers through platforms such as Headway and Grow Therapy. You will receive more details during the onboarding process.
What does a therapy session look like?
Therapy is a collaborative space where you can show up honestly. Sessions may include processing experiences, identifying patterns, building emotional awareness, and developing tools that support your well-being.
What is Rooted Living™ Coaching?
Rooted Living™ is a coaching experience designed to help you return to yourself, realign your life, and build a more rooted, intentional way of living. It is for those who are ready to grow, deepen self-awareness, and move forward with clarity.
What is the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy is clinical and focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health concerns. Coaching is not therapy—it is future-focused and supports growth, alignment, and intentional living.
If you are in need of mental health treatment, therapy is the appropriate service.
Can I do both therapy and coaching?
In some cases, yes—but they are approached separately and with clear boundaries. We can discuss what is most appropriate for you during your consultation.
How often will we meet?
Most clients are seen weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs and goals. Consistency is important for meaningful progress.
How can I contact you between sessions?
The best way to communicate is through the client portal. Please allow 24–48 business hours for responses.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed sessions may result in a fee.
What happens if I miss a session?
Missed sessions without notice are charged a no-show fee, as that time has been reserved specifically for you.
Do you take time off during the year?
Yes. In alignment with practicing what I teach, I take a planned period of time away each year—typically up to one month during the same season. This time allows me to rest, reset, and return fully present in the work I do. You will always receive advance notice, and we will plan accordingly to support continuity of care.
Is what I share kept confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. All information shared in sessions is confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law). These will be fully explained in your intake documents.
What if I’m not sure what I need?
That’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Part of the process is helping you gain clarity. We can explore together whether therapy or coaching is the best fit for where you are right now.
What is a good faith estimate?
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost one day before your medical service. Under the law, mental health providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services such as therapeutic services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate you can dispute the bill. For more questions or information about your right to Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/no surprises.
Wellness is a practice.
This space is here to support you as you learn what it means to return to yourself, move with intention, and stay rooted in who you are becoming.
